Welcome

Welcome to the Wakefield School District and the Paul School! Our students have opportunities to read and write independently, use a variety of ways to solve problems, and demonstrate healthy habits. We provide ways for students to reach their fullest potential. Each student is held to high academic and behavior standards. The continued use of varied resources and best practices provide a quality instructional program that meets the individual needs of our students. Our Positive Behavior Support plan promotes a learning environment that is nurturing, safe, and supportive. It also focuses on students making good choices and being responsible for their behavior. We continue to stress health awareness by encouraging our students to select foods and participate in activities that support the development of healthy bodies. With everyone working together as a team, we can achieve our goals.

Continuous communication among parents and students that is clear, consistent, and specific is one of the keys to a successful and safe environment, where academic excellence prevails. Your continued support and contributions are important to the success of our total school program.

Wakefield School District Mission Statement

"The mission of the Wakefield School District, in partnership with families and community, is to ensure that all students master the knowledge and skills necessary to maximize individual potential academically, socially, and emotionally and become successful contributors to their local and global society."
